After completing his degree in Hospitality Management in Zagreb, he dedicated himself to cooking and built his experience in major cities such as Barcelona, Slovenia, Paris, Berlin, and Bangkok, learning diverse gastronomic traditions and refining the techniques that define his style today.
He has spent several years working in Michelin-starred restaurants including Disfrutar, Hiša Franko, Horvath, and Gaggan - kitchens known for precision, innovation, and exceptional creativity. These environments played a key role in shaping Erik’s approach to cooking: bold, modern, and always focused on ingredient quality and guest experience.
Erik works across many culinary styles, but he is most drawn to modern cuisine. His dishes reflect a blend of global influences, contemporary techniques, and an artistic touch that highlights texture, balance, and clean aesthetics. Every plate he creates is a reflection of his international background, curiosity, and drive to push boundaries.
