Vicko Nonković-Raić and Pilar Olivares Gonzalez are a culinary duo and founders of Restaurant Ignis on the island of Korčula, whose cuisine is shaped by experience across some of Europe’s most refined gastronomic scenes. Their professional journey includes work in Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain, France, Norway, and Croatia, where they developed strong technical precision and a contemporary approach to cooking.
They met in the Basque Country at the renowned Azurmendi (3 Michelin stars), where working side by side led to a shared vision of gastronomy. It was there that the idea for their own project was born — a concept combining fine dining technique, Mediterranean warmth, and creative expression.
Their cuisine balances precision and ease, modernity and deep connection to local ingredients. Inspired by international experience and driven by the desire to create personal and meaningful dining moments, they design dishes meant to be shared and enjoyed together. Their approach embraces a sharing concept inspired by tapas culture, where food becomes the centre of a collective experience.
The menu is flexible and composed in agreement with the client. The price varies depending on the number of courses and the chef's selected seasonal ingredients.
