Dalen Belić is a chef from Varaždin with more than 15 years of experience in gastronomy, built through work in Croatia and abroad in renowned restaurants, hotels, and high-standard kitchens, including Michelin-recognised establishments. Throughout his career, he has developed a style that combines technical precision, a contemporary approach, and deep respect for quality ingredients.
For the past five years, he has served as Head Chef of Restaurant Fakin, holder of the Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction and three Gault&Millau toques. Working in such an environment further refined his cuisine, which focuses on balance of flavour, clarity of execution, and the overall guest experience.
His approach is rooted in professionalism, consistency, and close attention to detail, creating dishes that feel modern, thoughtful, and approachable at the same time. Dalen views gastronomy as a blend of craftsmanship, creativity, and genuine hospitality, aiming to make every dining experience memorable.
